God's Word of Hope
Hope Because of His love for us, God took the initiative to offer hope to sinful man. "In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him." (I John 4:9)
Sin "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) Therefore we all need to be saved.
Repent Be willing to turn from your sins and turn to God. "But God now commands all men everywhere to repent." (Acts 17:30)
Confess "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9). "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (I John 1:9)
Believe "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." (Acts 16:31)
Receive "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name." (John 1:12)
Obey "If you love Me, keep My commandments." (John 14:15)
The way of salvation has been made for us. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
Why not pray this prayer: "Dear Jesus, I know I have sinned. And Jesus, right now I ask you to come into my life to forgive me of my sins; to cleanse me; to save me. Jesus, I want to repent of these sins and receive you as my Savior. Thank you Jesus for saving me." (Scripture from the New King James Version)
