Dr. Virgil G. Dwyer, Jr. serves as the Senior Pastor at Ives Memorial Baptist Church in Pinebluff, North Carolina and as the Associational Mission Strategist for the Sandhills Baptist Association. Virgil holds a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forrest, NC. with a specialization in Christian Leadership, a Master of Divinity in Leadership, and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University, in Lynchburg, VA. Virgil is also an Alum of the Tar Heel Leadership Network. Virgil is a veteran of the United States Army serving in various leadership roles throughout his 22-year career. Virgil is married to Shannon Marie and together they have four children, Trey, Michael, Kayley, and Kenzy. Virgil and Shannon have homeschooled their children for the past 15 years. Virgil is passionate about church health and revitalization to impact the Kingdom of God through the visible presence and actions of the body of Christ. Virgil’s life verse is Matthew 6:33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.”
Dr. Matt Brogli has served as the pastor of Eagle Springs Baptist since 2012 and as the associate AMS since 2020. He and his wife, Lindsey, married in 2004, after Matt finished his undergraduate from the College at Southeastern and Lindsey returned home from studying abroad in France. Matt graduated with a Master of Arts in Christian Ethics, a Master of Divinity, and, most recently, a Doctor of Ministry with a specialization in Church Revitalization from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Lindsey homeschools their children and runs a furniture refinishing and home decor business, leafandletter. Matt and Lindsey have four children: Kenna, Finnegan, Gunnar, and Duncan. He has been blessed to serve the Lord around the world and has a heart for missions. Matt loves the Lord and desires to see Baptist churches become healthier through encouraging ministers, equipping churches, and evangelizing the lost.
Leah Zedaker originally from Pennsylvania, Leah now lives in Pinebluff, NC with her husband; Jacob and two sons. She previously worked as a surgical technician until blessed with her first born. After that she chose to be a stay-at-home mom, while being an Administrative Assistant to her husbands Lawn Care business. She is currently an Assistant Sunday School Teacher for Ives Memorial Baptist Church and also volunteers in the children’s nursery.
